Carter Lake Iowa is starting to look like a very bad prize fighter with all the black eyes it is getting anymore. Yesterday the Fire Chief was arrested by Omaha Police. The Chieff was working as a Security Guard at Immanuel Hospital (See the Chiefs job pays well on the Lake if he has to moonlight) when someone saw him steal a 42 inch TV from a storage garage. Doug Saatoff was arrested for theft. He has since resigned from the Carter Lake Fire Department at the suggestion of Mayor Russ Kramer.

A Papillion School Board meeting got heated when the board discussed the idea of shifting some district boundaries around in order to adjust attendance numbers at the two high schools. A bunch of cry babies dressed in their Titan Wear came to bitch that they didn’t want to become Monarchs. Apparently the people who attend Rumsey Station Elementary would end up shifting over to Papio LaVista North High School , the older of the two schools. The biggest cry was that some of the younger kids had older siblings that attended Papio Lavista South. Big Deal. It happens all the time.

Lets take a walk down memory lane. Back in the 70’s my brothers and sister all went to Benson, a Metro Power at the time. Then OPS builds Northwest so the district shifts and me and my friends all get to be the first Sophomore class to attend school at 80th and Crown Point.  I can still feel the 77-28 ass kicking we took from Benson in football. What’s my point? The elitist out in Papio need to shut the hell up. From the sounds of their comments ,the problem they have is they don’t want their kids to attend the older school. They would rather one High School in their district have attendance issues just so they can attend the newer school . Its a status issue. It has nothing to do with the level of education. Here’s to hoping the Papio School Board holds it’s ground and continues to work to have a strong school district, however we are sure the 150 whiners will lawyer up and attempt to block the move.

Speaking of Court Fights, City Planners are asking for a ban on electronic billboards and some advertisersare planning to file suit if the City Council grants their wish. Some companies have replaced billboards around town with electronic ones that allow them to switch messages. Some city officials, probably the same ones that want to shut off the traffic light near the elementary school, say the billboards are against city code. Looking at the law it appears there is no law governing them and that might be the cities problem. The method of advertising may be the wave of the future but it has been around for a long time. Maybe not in the eyes of the sheltered individuals who huddle in their office in the City County building and think crap up, but in other cities it has been around for some time. Can anyone say Times Square. I swear that sometimes people dream shit up to make this city look stupid.

Speaking of stupid, a MECA employee has been arrested in a bid rigging scheme. Andrea Howard attempted to coax a lighting vendor into raising their bid so they would make more money and then kick a little bit of the money back to her. Didn’t work out so well as they turned her in and Omaha Police arrested her while at the Qwest Center and charged her with theft by deception. Cater Lake Police offered to make the arrest beings as they were so close and hadn’t tazered anyone in days and they got left out of the arrest of their Fire Chief as well, however Omaha officials declined.

Everyone have a safe Memorial Day Weekend. Don’t forget it’s a Click it or Ticket Holiday and the sting operations will be out in force so buckle up.

A Council Bluffs girl is left heartbroken after some jackass stole her puppy from her front yard near 29th and Avenue B while she played a short ways away. A witness said a van pulled up and someone got out, called to the dog then grabbed it and took off. The dog, named Angel, might have been one that someone was selling from a box, just blocks away, for $25 each. So if you bought this little girls dog for $25, do the right thing and get it back to her and give a description of the person that sold it to you to Council Bluffs Police. Maybe we will get lucky and these people will be from Carter Lake and get picked up there.

Ho Humm  Another person is shot and wounded in a drive by near 34th and Cass. The 16 year old was shot in the leg from a person inside a red SUV. The injuries were not life threatening.

You know if these punks ever learn to be better shots then maybe the civic leaders might get a little more outraged and start banding together to do something.

Speaking of bad shots and stupid moves, Vincent McGee told a judge yesterday that he would take his punishment and that he knows what he did was stupid. The Judge then gave him 8-12 for First degree Assault and using a weapon to commit a felony in the shooting of a mail carrier near 42nd and N Street. McGee will have to serve a minimum of 4 years. The mailman wasn’t seriously injured from the pellets that his him from the sawed off shotgun that McGee fired.

Good news for you lead foots, the City Council voted 7-0 to raise the speed limit on Pacific from 120th to 170th to 45mph. Now you can race up and wait at the next light even faster than ever.

More later if anything good shows up on the radar………………….

James Martin Davis is crying foul over an arrest and this time he might be right. It seems several law enforcement officers from Carter Lake pursued a car into the Omaha city limits on April 24th around 10:30 p.m. (Nebraska law does not allow that by the way). One of the passengers in the car was a manager of the Kicks 66 on Abbott Drive and they stopped there so he could check on the night crew. Surveillance tape show Cater Lake officers entering the store and pretty much kicking the crap out of Justin Peck, punching, tazering, knocking stuff around the store. Plus it looks like they used the entire Carter Lake Police Force to do it as well. Things must have been slow in the little village that night because everyone wanted in on this ass kicking.

Carter Lake Police told Omaha that Peck had assaulted officers but the eye in the sky from the store shows a different story. Officers started wailing on Peck before he had a chance to respond to any command they might have given him. Omaha authorities pressed assault charges on Peck based on police reports from that evening.

JMD wants charges dropped against Peck and charges of assault and false reporting filed against the Carter Lake Officers. Lets see if Marty pursues this kind of action with the zeal he goes after College World Series ticket scalpers.

A Lincoln Police Officer made a traffic stop around 2:30 a.m. Monday after seeing a Monte Carlo being towed by a Navigator in an unsafe fashion. He arrested the Navigator driver for DUI but there was a 5 year old asleep in the vehicle. A woman who was steering the Monte apparently was the child mother was told she was being sited for child neglect. She then swore at the officer and proceeded to bite him on the arm. (Imguessing she was a real dog) The woman was cited for felony assault of an officer. The officer was treated with a rabies booster and released.

Some South Omahresidents sprang into action after an attempted home invasion Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m. A man attempted to force his way into a home near 42nd and L. Neighbors hearing the disturbance helped subdue the man(Kick the crap out of the suspect if your in Cater Lake) andhold him for Omaha Police. The man was charged with robbery and a felon in possession of a firearm. The Carter Lake Police Chief and the Carter Lake Mayor have sent all the neighbors job applications.

I had to write this one while awaiting the yeast to reach optimal temperature, for those of you in Millard, the dough is rising.

A party down at Millers Landing over the weekend went bad when someone pulled a gun and shot 3 people. Two others were trampled in the ”Shots Fired Stampede” the No-K Coral is now famous for. Details are still sketchy because either A: Nobody is talking B: We need it hushed up to not give the riverfront a black eye. C: Nobody knows why a large crowd of people was allowed to gather in a city park well after midnight. D: All of the above.

The party was being pushed by a local radio station that specialises in Thug Rap 101.  Wonder if they managed to get the Millers Landing Pavilion tagged before it was called a night?

And here I was worried I wouldn’t have a quality lead in……

Two men pushed down a South Omaha Ice Creme vendor and stole his cart around 10 last Friday. They got away with cash and all his goodies. Not sure how they got away. You know someone had to see two idiots running with a cart down the street with the chain of bells clanking like it was a Christopher Walken music video. The vendor said through a translator that he hoped they choked on a bad Eskimo pie.

Staying in South O, A family fight brought police to the 14th and U area. Story goes that a man and his gal were evicted from a house there but the family broke out the bats and brass knuckles to throw them a going away party. Wow no gun fire ? People who know how to party the old fashioned way. No arrests were made because the car that got the crap beat out of it declined to file charges.

And its expected to be announced today that the Zoo will get a sweet land deal on Rosenblatt to tear it down for a 100 million dollar expansion. Cheers can be heard from the Polar Bear Pens and they want to move to the suburbs and get away from the annoying monkeys next door.

Donors still must be located to pay for the expansion so saddle up for another fundraiser.

More later…thanks again for the lead in Mongo………………………

Like a colonoscopy, Hal Daub has formed an exploratory committee to look at his chances at running for Mayor of Omaha. Word is that Hal will toss his hat in. If anything it should provide for some very colorful campaign exchanges. Wonder how long it takes Handshake Hal to point out how many of his ideas Muppet Mike and his clan have tried to take credit for.

Some resident of the Benson area have become heated over the city’s plans to turn off and remove a stop light at 66th and Maple, right next to Benson West Elementary School. City Engineer Tood Pfitzer claims the light is no longer needed with the pedestrian overpass located a block away and that the light may contribute to accidents. What? Todd, no offense but just where did you get this idea. The light isn’t driving the car Eastbound at the speed of sound when it crests the hill to see a red signal a block away. Whats causing the accidents is people driving to fast and not paying attention to what they are doing.

The intersection is getting the new curb ramps and it is said to cost $60,000 to reinstall the lights after the work is done. Any takers on the day of the first fatality at the intersection once the light is shut off?

A park was dedicated to Mildred Brown, the late Editor and publisher of the Omaha Star. The Star has been churning out print for 70 continuous years  behind Mildred’s persistence to be a voice for North Omaha. The park is nestled in a former vacant lot next to the star building at 24th and Grant and a long overdue tribute to her.

Council Bluff Police are looking for an Omaha man in connection with a serious hit and run. Police have issued an arrest warrant for 23 year old Eric Perry after police located his 95 Caddy DeVille at an Omaha body shop. Witnesses saw Perrys car speed of recklessly in the 700 block of South 21st Street striking Justin Beaty. If you know where Eric is hiding out call Council Bluffs Police so we can watch them whop his ass on the news.

An Omaha woman is recovering after a Pit Bull broke loose from it’s restraint and attacked her near 22nd and Laird. Cynthia Edwards suffered injuries to her butt, thigh and forehead after the sweet innocent wouldn’t harm a fly animal attacked her. Were sure the dog was misunderstood and beginningto turn it’s life around. The Nebraska Humane Society has taken custody of the dog andwill hold it till a Judge decided what should happen to it . Sounds like the long dirt nap is just around the corner.

And for you Hockey people, word on the street is the Gladiator Program is adding a Midwest High School Varsity and JV team. The Varsity team will be coached by our old dear friend Mike V. and he is also listed as the JV coach with that coach being named later after he fills some sort of contractual obligations. That can’t be Pat Meschede could it? Sorry Pat we had to give you one last stroke before your done. Actually no word on who the other coach is at this point. Try outs are scheduled for June. More info when we get it from the source………

Have a great weekend everyone……………

Well another High School Coach has fallen into the grasp of the pervert patrol. 57 year old Sanford Kaplan was arrested and charged with false imprisonment, sexual abuse and a variety of other charges after two people came forward with a twisted story of Kaplans demented sexual exploits.

Seems the now former Lincoln Northeast soccer coach and former UNL Professor would bound, gag and then suspended these young men ages 13 and 15 from the rafters in his garage. He asked them to dress in denim pants and jacket and hip waders. WTF Hip Waders? Christ, twist one off to a Babe Winkelman video but leave the kids out of it you sick bastard. Kaplan said he got some kind of sexual gratification out of it.

Police are looking for other possible victims as the freak was allowed to house foreign exchange students as well.

A 2 year old boy escaped serous injury after he climbed in his moms car outside a laundromat at 49th and Grover and knocked the car out of gear. (Why wasn’t the emergency break on?) The car rolled across Grover Street and struck a parked car, narrowly missing the owner. The boys mother was not ticketed as she did not leave the child in the car but the boy and his brother were outside playing. She was told through an interpreter that she might keep a closer eye on him.

The Nebraska Supreme Court has refused to hear former Priest turned pervert Daniel Herek’s appeal on a probation violation for exposing himself in the Crossroads parking lot over 3 years ago. This means he will likely return to jail. He was convicted of molesting a few altar boys while he was serving as Priest. Looks like he will have plenty of company when he is back in the slammer.

Why does it seem the news runs in stages, one day is shootouts next day it pervert arrests. Sick world people.

And Handshake Hal has formed an exploratory committee looking in to if he should run for Mayor of Omaha again. Daub feels the currant administration is misleading the public (at least Hal let us vote on the Qwest Center) and that there are some pressing issues in the future that the Muppet seems to be having trouble coping with. How about we fix the sewers instead of just talking about it for 20 more years?

More later if the crappy news doesn’t have us drinking early……………

No big surprises in the Primary yesterday. Jimmy “my staff member didn’t copy and paste it right” Esch will take on Lee Terry again. Somewhat of a surprise but not really, Scott “Go Speed Racer” Kleeb defeated Tony Raimondo pretty handily. Kleeb earned the nod to take on Mike Johanns in November.

Police have arrested 3 Omaha youths for the robbery of the Crystal Beverage Mart at 4807 South 20th. Apparently 2 of them entered the store, claimed to have a weapon and stole some liquor. Problem is they didn’t go far to consume their haul and police nabbed them after answering a disturbance call only to find Bombed Billy and his two drunk friends one of which was nice enough to puke in the police cruiser. Lightweight. Two of the perps ages 13 and 16 were taken to the youth detention facility the third was 18 and will be taking the fall for the other 2.

Creighton Prep announced that student athletes will have to agree to random drug testing to participate in school sports. Officials say they will be looking for steroid use among their student body. We don’t think the policy goes far enough and call for random testing of the speech, drama and chess teams as well. Mongo called for estrogen testing of the drama team and that was uncalled for.

Police say the bullet that struck Taylor Borgeson while he played soccer at the King Science Center did not come from any of the guns recovered in the shoot out a few blocks away. So either they didn’t get all the guns or the gun play in the No-K is so out of control that strays are flying around at 4 in the afternoon for no apparent reason. Ernest is said to have his investigation on the agenda right after he files his complaint along with the ACLU for all the toilet paper in city hall being white.

And as a new feature during sweeps week we will launch our own EYE team investigative reporters.  Watch for their feature story’s on where pocket lint really comes from and why your hockey fees jumped 10 bucks this year.

Even though low voter turnout is predicted, get out and vote today.

News junkies that we are here, the topic of conversation this morning over a box full of Mongo’s finest artery cloggers was the level to which the local newscasters have lowered themselves to. For example, last night I watched the first 3 minutes of the Action 3 news at 10. It looked like the entire thing was filmed by a monkey with a curling iron shoved up his keester. The camera was bobbing and weaving..zoom in zoom out..how long ago did that camera action go out of style..click

KETV and Their I TEAM (Guess what the I really stands for) was not much better. The in depth investigation into to candidates for the South O seat in the Legislature had us on the edge of our seats as Karol Kloss grilled the Creighton Student about the California tags on his car. Can someone sign her up for an Oprah makeover. Nothing has put fear like that in an interview since the Best Dressed Councilman in Omaha Frank Brown used to be a field reporter for KMTV.

The one of the top stories was a Middle School solar powered car club. Earth shattering news like that made me want to subscribe to Cappers Weekly again.

A suspected shoplifter got more than he bargained for when the pet store owner confronted him about the iguana he had shoved down his pants. The man threw the bag containing the iguana on the floor, killing the animal, then attempted to flee only to have the owner who trains daily in mixed martial arts chase him down and put the fear of being disassembled into him. The man is charged with 2nd degree robbery. They should have let the store owner have a few rounds with him before taking him in.

And Omaha Police have stepped up patrols in the NO-K Coral after all the shootings as of late. Police said there is little they can do about a popular hang out where people gather on the weekends. Attempts were made to get comment from Ernest but he was to busy looking into the man ordered cuffed to the chair by the Judge to protect himself from himself, even though the mans mother didn’t see a problem with it. Guess what is happening in his district isn’t as important.

The No-K Coral sounded like a GrucciFireworks show over the weekend with all the arrant gunfire.

An internal investigation is underway after an off duty officer working as a security guard at the 30th and Ames BP station shot and killed a man after that man had shot someone in a fight. Boots Sheldon reported to us from the pay phone at Big Jims across the street that a fight had broken out at the BP around 2:30 and the officers attempted to break it up however a few didn’t get the message and began to fight. 21 year old Leroy Goodwin pulled a gun and shot 29 year old Michael Moss. Officer Jarvis Duncan, last years Officer of the Year, then drew his service revolver and shot Goodwin who later died from his wounds. Officer Duncan and Officer Randy Szemplenski have been placed on Administrative leave pending the investigation.

All together now..”They didn’t have to shoot him….He was turning his life around”.

At 5:30 Sunday Morning 18 year old Maurice Dixon was walking near 24th and Evans when he was shot in the back. No motive or suspects have been released. Dixon is expected to make a full recovery and be back wandering the streets at all hours of the night shortly.

At 9:30 last night a teen heard a knock at the door at his home near 28th and Ames. He looked out and didn’t see anyone but was shot in the back as he turned to walk away. Again no suspects or motive is being released.

And then Police found an unresponsive man in a home near 17th and Victor. Then man identified as Clenix Martin was pronounced dead at Nebraska Medical Center. Martin had testified against Roy Ellis in his murder trial. Roy as you know is the man who killed Amber Harris.

Then we have the teen who was arrested near 27th and S and was handcuffed and placed in the police cruiser. The teen pulled a Houdini and got his hands in front of him and slid behind the wheel of the cruiser and took off. His driving skills being what the were in the first place had him loose control and hit a tree, hopefully hitting his head as well. The teen also has a felony warrant in Iowa for him. Let me guess Felony Dumbass Violation?

And with the great weather upon us another problem arises. That problem is motorcycle rider’s who can’t obey the laws of the road because they think they are invincible.

Last night around 7:30 p.m. a man was killed near 177th and Blondo after he attempted to pass a car on the left that was in the LEFT HAND TURN LANE on Blondo. The car struck his bike and he lost control and hit a wooden telephone pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Like the guy getting clocked a the speed of light on the Dodge expressway because he was late for work, to many of the rice rocket ridding clowns are putting other lives in danger because of their need to be idiots on the road. From fools riding wheeliesin traffic to idiots who ride between lanes passing cars they are putting more than themselves in danger. I am sorry this fool got scattered across the countryside but I feel more for the poor woman who has to live with the fact she was involved in a fatality accident because of someones foolish and selfish behavior.

Lets lighten things up around here.

HOW ABOUT THEM LANCERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lancers take boththe Anderson and Clark cups with a 4-3 overtime win in front of the home crowd Saturday night. It’s the 7th Championship for the club. The win was capped by a Barry Almeida goal with 13:52 left in over time. Lancer Goalie Drew Palmisano was named postseason MVP. Looks like the Lancers will continue to be a pipeline of outstanding netminders.

Great job guys…..Cant wait for next season.

More later after more details are released in the NO-K events………….

Things keep popping in the NO-K Coral. Last night two men were reported to have walked up to 4022 Wirt and started shooting. Two men inside were hit, one went to the hospital in a private car the other got to ride in the cube van with the flashing lights. Police say neither has life threatening injuries which contributes to the statistic that the gansta style of shooting a gun has a 22% accuracy rate. No word on a motive for the shootings.

A man walked up to police and reported being stabbed near the W Dale Clark library (thats Downtown for thoes of you in Millard). Police arrested a suspect but did not provide many details. Our guess it stemmed from a fight over a cigarette butt or a bottle with an Iowa Deposit stamp but we could be wrong.

Candidate Jimmy Esch is taking a beat down from his opponents over a statement released that quoted word for word in first person an article published by the Brookings Institute on the Feds getting involved in the mortgage issues. Jimmy blamed a staff member for poor copy and paste skills (maybe he is ready for Washington) and attempted to slough it off as a little mistake while others made the point the Jimmy would have gotten his walking papers from law school had he done it there. Maybe the I Team needs to review his term papers. Not that they would find anything but it might keep us from having to see Carol Kloss on TV for a few days. Not to change the subject but which producer reviewed her demo tapes and though that was a good idea? We haven’t seen more biased editorialized twisted reporting since Carol Schrader graced the airwaves. After viewing some of the I Team’s reports we have an idea what the I stands for. Maybe Todd and Tyler can loan these guys the old short bus to use as their I Team vehicle.

Wow that kinda sounds harsh.

A story going around and getting some comment on talk radio and in the Public Pulse is giving Muppet Mike thumbs up for supporting a Street Car System in Omaha. Forgive us if we are wrong but were not these same people calling Handshake Hal a complete Boob for suggesting the same thing a few years ago. This Administration is starting to make former Councilman Lo’s idea of a canal system linking Carter Lake and downtown look like pure genius.

Game 4 tonight Lancers vs Waterloo.

A purse stolen from a car Sunday at St Wenceslaus Church last Sunday held a credit card that was used at the Downtown Omaha Courtyard Hotel. An alert desk clerk became suspicious of the couple and called authorities. Two Douglas County Sheriffs showed up and attempted to question the couple when a melee broke out in the hallway. While attempting to arrest 32 year old Jason Galle, Deputy Mike Smith was smacked over the head with a vase. The struggle continued and Smith fired one shot from his 9mm service revolver, hitting Galle in the chest (Clean up in hallway 2 bring a mop). It was later learned the couple was meeting two men on the 8th floor in some sort of identity theft ring and those men possessed equipment used to make false identification. Who says nothing fun happens in Downtown.

The Deputy was treated for his gash at Creighton as well as Galle who is expected to live.

Galle and his knocked up girlfriend Dana McCoy are also wanted in Iowa on drug and fraud charges. The two other men were booked on related charges as well as possession of meth, go figure.

The Lancers fell to Waterloo 3-1 last night to fall behind in the best of 5 series. Waterloo will take a 2-1 lead into game 4 Friday. Is it just us but do there seem to be alot of waved off goals in the USHL playoffs this year?

Talk about swift justice. Bobby McCartherwas arrested Monday for a murder outside Club 2000 in which a parked car was sprayed with bullets killing Gaylen Wright. He plead guilty to murder and was sentenced to life without parole on Wednesday. Granted Bobby is in jail anyway on federal charges he has also plead guilty to related to conspiracy to traffic crack cocaine (looks like Bobby will be trafficking another type of crack soon) as well as being the leader and organizer of a criminal cartel that participated in drug trafficking and murder. According to reports McCarther was the leader of the Hilltop Gansta Crips and that several other members had also been arrested and were going to roll over on Bobby to save their own asses. Several people said Bobby has a grudge against Wright who had supposedly stole drug money from McCarther. Sounds like Bobby will do his time in the Federal Hole as well.

And a final note to all our Hockey Family readers out there. O.M.A.H.A. will be holding in-person registration for next year along with the swap meet on My 17th from 9-noon. (For anyone searching for a calender that is a week from this Saturday….nothing like a nice advance notice in true O.M.A.H.A. form). Information is on the league website. So get out the checkbook and lets get warmed up for next season. No truth to the rumor a certain group that was on a certain team will have to show proof of a standing bail bond before registration.

Now we know what it feels like to be on the other side of this. American League fans……..truth of the matter is we are just baseball fans with a plan to see a few games in every Major League Park in the country. Besides how serious could we take an insult from a furball running around town in a cape and speedo…….

No bail has been ordered for 26 year old Derrick D West-Jones (no relation to Derrick D East-Jones) for popping a cap in Kathleen Jackson after an argument over loud music at a party. Witnesses say a scuffle broke out after people complained about the music coming from an apartment at 63rd and Taylor and that West-Jones fired a shot hitting Jackson in the head. No word on what type of music the argument was over however friend say West-Jones is a fan of show tunes.

And it looks as if more than thunder was popping in the No-K coral last night after a person was taken to the hospital with another gunshot wound. Police were searching the area near 30th and Spaulding for evidence. No wonder there is such a lead problem in the area. With all the bad shots and spent bullets laying around.

Mr Brandt inked his name on the memorandum of understanding for 25 years of the CWS in Omaha if we build the new ballpark. A final contract is expected shortly. Mupett Mike was said to be doing a naked jig in the window of the City County Building while giving the Councilman from South Omaha the finger. No word on what will happen with the Rosenblatt location but some have suggested a Big Joe Polka Show Museum.

Wow do we feel missed. Sorry we took a little Baseball vacation  and spent some time catching up with old friends. With that we missed multiple shootings, a guilty verdict followed by mitigating circumstances, soccer player shot while sitting at game, stabbings, an agreement on the College World Series, emails asking why the new President wasn’t at the Junior Lancer Try-outs (Welcome to the hot seat Neil, some people tend to get excited about the little things) and a visit from the flock of sheep that think everything Warren Buffett says is like Moses coming down from the mountain.

A 29 year old was arrested after he was pulled over driving the car belonging to a 72 year old man who was found dead earlier. John Runnion was booked on suspicion of first degree murder in the death of Patrick Mc Andrews. Police decline to say how McAndrews was killed.

A Project Extra Mile sting with Omaha Police netted 14 DUI’s at a party raided near 47th and Frances. Several people were cited for disorderly conduct as well. No truth to the rumor that Diane Ribbe herself got to kick the door in.  Law enforcementand Project Extra Mile have planned a tag team bust patrol through the month of may to target underage drinking parties during the college finals-high school graduation season.

The Lancers evened the finals last night with a 2-0 win over Waterloo thanks to an outstanding performance by goalie Drew Palmisano. The series now moves to Waterloo.

And we are happy to report all is well in the cities of Minneapolis, Cleveland,Boston and New York. Give us a day to get caught back up and we will get back into the swing of things here.
